This policy applies to all day trips booked directly with Brasov Day Trips. It forms part of our Terms & Conditions.
1. Cancellations by you
- More than 48 hours before the tour — full refund of any amount paid online, or free cancellation for cash bookings.
- Between 48 and 24 hours before — 50% refund of amounts paid online.
- Less than 24 hours before, or no-show — no refund.
To cancel, email info@brasovdaytrips.ro or message us on WhatsApp (+40 741 039 039). Cancellations take effect from the moment we receive them.
2. Cancellations or changes by us
We may occasionally have to cancel or change a tour for safety reasons — bad weather on mountain roads, dangerous conditions at bear-watching hides, road closures, monument closures, mechanical issues or force majeure. In that case we will:
1. Offer to move the tour to another date, or 2. Offer to swap it for a different tour of similar value, or 3. Refund the full amount you paid to us for that tour.
We are not responsible for costs booked separately (flights, hotels, meals, tickets bought elsewhere).
3. Partial changes on the day
If a specific site is unexpectedly closed on the day, we will do our best to include a comparable alternative. When that is not possible, we will refund a fair portion of the price corresponding to the missed part.
4. How refunds are paid
Online card payments are refunded to the same card via Viva.com within 5–10 working days. Cash bookings that we cancel are simply not charged.
5. Special cases
- Bear-watching tour — permit and hide access are booked in advance and non-refundable inside 48 hours regardless of the reason (bear activity, weather, park authority decisions).
- Multi-day and custom private trips — different cancellation terms may apply and will be sent to you in writing before you confirm.
