These Terms & Conditions govern every booking made with Brasov Day Trips (the "Operator"), whether through this website, WhatsApp, email or phone. By making a booking you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these terms on behalf of everyone in your party.
1. Who we are
Brasov Day Trips is a tour operator based in Brașov, Romania, offering small-group and private day trips across Transylvania. You can reach us by email at info@brasovdaytrips.ro, by phone at +40 741 039 039, or on WhatsApp at the same number.
2. Bookings and confirmation
A booking becomes a contract only once we confirm it in writing (email or WhatsApp). Until then, prices, dates and availability are indicative. It is your responsibility to give us correct contact details and pickup address; we are not liable for a missed tour caused by wrong information.
3. Prices, currency and inclusions
Prices are shown per person or per group, in EUR on the English site and in RON on the Romanian site, and cover only what the tour page lists as "included". Entrance tickets, meals, drinks and tips are excluded unless explicitly stated. We may adjust published prices at any time; the price that applies to your booking is the one confirmed with you in writing.
4. Payment
Payment is made either online via our card processor (Viva.com) or in cash to the guide on the day of the tour, in EUR or RON. Online payments are processed under Viva.com's terms; we never see or store your full card number.
5. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for arriving at the pickup point on time, holding valid travel documents, having appropriate insurance and being fit for the activities booked. Please tell us in advance about medical conditions, allergies or reduced mobility so we can plan the day safely.
6. Our responsibilities and limits
We take reasonable care in organising every trip, use professional drivers and licensed vehicles, and follow Romanian traffic and tourism regulations. We are not liable for delays, closures or losses caused by circumstances outside our control (weather, road closures, strikes, official decisions, monument closures, force majeure). Our maximum liability for any claim connected with a booking is limited to the amount you paid for that booking.
7. Cancellations and changes
Cancellations, refunds and weather-related changes are covered in our separate Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.
8. Behaviour
We may refuse to start or continue a tour if a guest is intoxicated, aggressive, or puts themselves or others at risk. In such cases no refund is due.
9. Photos
Guides may take a few photos during tours for our own marketing. If you prefer not to appear, please tell the guide at the start of the day and we will respect that.
10. Complaints and dispute resolution
If something goes wrong, please tell the guide on the day so we can try to fix it immediately. Formal complaints should be sent to info@brasovdaytrips.ro; we aim to reply within 14 days. Consumers in the EU can also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Romanian consumers may contact ANPC (www.anpc.ro).
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by Romanian law. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably will be submitted to the competent courts of Brașov, Romania.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force is the one published on this page on the date of your booking.
